Everything is 100% solar powered. We do not have a connection to the power company grid, although line is right by property. System consists of 40 panels of 240 watts each, 20 Deep Cycle Gel Type Batteries rated 200 Amps each with design life of 15 years, a heavy duty 100 amp Solar Charge Controller, and a 20 KW 230 Volts AC Single Phase Pure Sine Wave inverter.

We have a number of young plants and trees set out and growing nicely, with an irrigation system installed for most of them. We have also prepared an area for a home garden to grow fresh vegetables like tomatoes, squash, sweet corn, etc without pesticides. We have designed our place to be about as self-sufficient as one can get, yet still conveniently located within easy driving distance of a medium size city with everything.

We use a 1.5 HP well pump which pumps water automatically (on a timer) to the two 10,000 liter water tanks, total 20,000 liters of water storage capacity. From the tanks we have another 1.5 HP Pump that works fully automatically and provides pressure to the home and other water outlets. Again, everything is 100% Solar Powered and we have no power bills, no water bills, and no sewer bills. We have ran one air conditioner all night long during warmer nights along with everything else with no power problems from our solar system. It works perfect. We also keep our deepfreezer at minus 30 degrees F.

Our new REDUCED asking price is actually 110,000,000 Chilean Pesos but the form on this site only allows USD and a few other currencies. At the present exchange rate, it is about $200,000. USD. We will of course consider all offers.

The Komatsu PC-20 Excavator is included, also two 40 foot Steel Shipping Containers that we use now as a tool room, workshop and storage.
