Traditional Stone House for Rent in Triandaros, Cyclades - Tinos, Greece

Tradition, Style, Endless Sea View

This beautiful, preserved stone house is located in Tinos, the most artistic of the Aegean islands. It has been fully renovated a few years ago, using its own natural materials (stone, wood and marble). It accommodates 7 persons, with respect to privacy, and it gets you into the unique lifestyle of a small Cycladic village while enjoying fantastic sea views and a high quality accommodation.

The house stands in the middle of the traditional village of Triantaros, which is listed in the law protected traditional villages of Greece. Triantaros is well known for its architecture, its healthy dry climate (320m attitude) and its magnificent panoramic sea view. Our village is only 6 km s far from the town-port of Tinos (with frequent bus connections) and near beautiful, clear, sandy beaches. The bus stop is only 50 meters far from the house.

The house is separated to the main (two level) house (125 sq meters) and the guest-house (30 sq meters). The main house has 2 bedrooms. One master bedroom with its own bathroom and a desk to work and a second one with two single beds. It accommodates at least 4 persons. It has a kitchen (fully equipped), a dinning area and a living room with a fireplace. The guesthouse has one bedroom, its own kitchen, a bathroom, a small living room and it accommodates up to 3 persons.
There is a patio, a veranda and 16 windows with magnificent panoramic views to the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands, as also views to beautiful landscapes with traditional pigeon houses and windmills.
The house has a central heating system and it is perfect also for winter stay. Because of the stone and the village’s attitude, it’s cool in the summer – no need for air-conditioning. It is beautifully furnished and decorated with a combination of old traditional and modern furniture.
In Triantaros there are 3 restaurants (two of them also open in the winter). The village bakery is near the house and in the morning the air around smells fresh bread and Greek sweet bugatsa!

Tinos is one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades complex with a great tradition in Arts - especially in marble sculpture. One of the most famous marble sculptors of the island, Yannis Kyrarinis, is located in our village.
The island has a strong religious tradition. It is one of the most sacred places for Greek Orthodox Christians, while its Catholic Christian Community is one of the most multitudinous in Greece.
The nature of the island is unique, with mountains and wild sea sceneries especially in the northern part. If you like trekking and hiking you will love Tinos!
