The area around Santa Rosa has many attractions and is a great vacation spot and perfectly located for travling to El Salvador and Guatemala and is just 60 miles away from The Copan Archaeological Park which was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations, this area is called Copan Ruins. Just 40 minutes from Santa Rosa is the small town of Gracias, founded in 1536,and is the home of the world famous Hot Springs. The elevation in and around Gracias ranges from 800 meters to 2875 meters at the peak of Montana Celaque, the highest mountain & largest cloud forest in Honduras. Santa Rosa has many fine restaurants,good hotels & inexpensive shops, international banks & a stable government.

Santa Rosa has a subtropical climate with temperatures ranging from 77F to 84F in the summer(March-June)and 55F to
60F in the winter (December-February). The city was founded in the early 18th Century (1705). Santa Rosa is the largest and most important city in Western Honduras with a population of 42,803 people, and is the governmental hub of Copan District. Three major airlines serve the Mainland of Honduras, Taca Airlines,Delta Airlines and American Airlines. Honduras has three International Airports,on the mainland, one in Tegucigalpa another one in Le Ceiba and the other in San Pedro Sula, which is only 90 minutes by car, taxi or bus from Santa Rosa.

The house has a large four vehicle carport which is perfect to teach children the various trades, such as welding,plumbing,electricity and small motors repair. The rooms have Mexican tile on the floors and each room is large enough to sleep several children in bunk beds with their own locker, with two smaller bedrooms for the owner and/or caregiver. The large patio overlooks a mountian range for over 50 miles with the patio being a great place to teach the children (during nice days) math,the A,B,Cs,etc of learning, if one placed a canopy over the patio it would serve the children in many other ways such as having their meals on the patio or just plain relaxing or playing after a hard day at school and working in and around the house/property (grounds) for which they would be paid and once a week taken to town to spend their hard earned money.

The upstars bedroom/studio is not quite finished and needs some work and other repairs need to be done to the house in order to make the house more livable.
For example, the house is without electricity and running water. The repairs can be easily made and the owner has reduced the price of the house/property to take into consideration the cost of repairing the house. To get electricity to the house will cost about $1,000 and the cost to get running water to the house will be less than five hundred dollars.

This house could also be a restaurant with several different stores where people come to lunch or dinner and shop at the same time.
