The 291.37 hectare (720 acre) main quarry is on a freehold title. An additional leased quarry and permanent concrete business (including plant and equipment) is included in the sale.

Rowlands Quarries, Katherine, is the local supplier of quarry and concrete products in Katherine and surrounding districts; supplying products from Katherine to Darwin and to the Western Australian and Queensland borders.

The main quarry comes with managerial staff and all plant and equipment required for efficient product extraction, including crushers, loaders, road trains, tippers, office and workshop. A full equipment list is available upon request.

The current owners have been particular with equipment selection and maintenance providing for low down time. The plant employs predominantly Caterpillar earth moving equipment, therefore standardizing servicing maintenance and warranty requirements. All servicing can be done in-house.

There is a sixty tonne weigh bridge on site. Transport equipment includes four road train rated trucks a Mack prime mover and three Volvo prime movers, with eight side tippers and one truck and dog combination.

There is one free flowing bores supplying water to the dam located at the main quarry for convenient washing of product.(There are an additional two free flowing bores on the property with one delivering 40 litres per second at 40 psi)

Quarry activities have been carried out on the registered quarry site since 1986, focusing on construction material, including aggregates, road base, trench rock, concrete pre-mix, manufactured sand and soil and other products. The source material is a very high quality Dolomite rock which as a mineral has many other uses.

At present there are three extraction permits that overlay the recoverable resource. Combined, the leases represent about half of the total area of Oolloo Dolostone.
