Cocoa, Rubber and Coffe Plantation

This plantation was one the crown jewels of Cameroon. Started in the 1930s by my father, it employed approximately. It is located in Bityé, a small village near Sangmelima in the south center region of Cameroon near the the Dja Reservation and Cameroon's border with the Republic of Gabon.

With an altitude of over 800 meters, this fertile land and huge expenses of forest,is bordered by a river and several fresh water springs. The property has tremendous potential for growing diverse crops including vegetables, peppercorn, vanilla, etc and fish farming. Originally cocoa, coffee (robusta) and rubber were the main crops.

Although in need of repair, the master house built in a art deco style still stands proudly in the middle of the property. With expertise and financing, this plantation could regain its legendary place among the great plantations in Cameroon.
