As the house is newer the map does not show house.
The house has new kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets and some wood trim. I am surrounded by 600 plus hectaries owned by a Norwiegen named Ludvig. He isdeveloping some view lots about 1km away. His land includes walking and riding trail and lots of river frontage that you will have access to. Nearby is the ocean 10 min walk or short drive .ree restaurants and a store and a bus stop. I have family matters to attend to elsewhere and need to move on so I am motivated to make a deal . I have vacated the house and am currently in USA. Serena lives near by and has the keys to show the house.
There are two surf beaches nearby. One is called Playa Reina near the town of Mariato. It gets good swells coming in and is the best place to be when the surf is big. The other beach is called Playa Morio. It has big waves but at some point they close out early so when the surf is huge Playa Reina is better. Both of these beaches are starting to get attention from the Panamanian and international surfers and on the weekends and holidays during the summers their might be 10-20 surfers in the waves but usually you might be the only one there.
Big game fishing can be had here. We are not far from the deep water of the Pacific. There are a couple boat launches and a few hearty Gringos that have Sport Fishing boats. There are new boat houses built by Cecil and there might be one available. Often times the other Gringos are looking to find some one to chip in for gas so if you pay your part and help with maintainance you can probabaly not need to buy a boat just buddy up with the others. Also Captain Jerry takes out charters sometimes so if you don't even want to buy gear you can go out with him. Some of the places to fish are the Light house at the end of the penisula, Puenta Narajna, Gringo Rock, and around the area of Puerto Nance.
If your concerned about the state of the world and want/need a place to lay low this is a great place. The locals eat beans/rice and kill a chicken or catch a fish. If the economy tanked these peoples lives would'nt change much....
I have lots of trees around my house and a creek. There is usualy some type of wild life around such as birds, iguanas, monkey's squirrels, ground type birds. The fruit trees and Bananas are producing so Im even getting a few Tucans. Also the road by my house goes up into the mountains about 6 km. After that their is a trail the heads to the divide in the mountains and is also where the gold fields are. At the end of the Peninsula near the Town of Floricita is the enterance to the National Park. It is undeveloped and primative. Its a great place to bird watch and hike. There is a gringa that does tours and she would be happy to show you around. Also there are miles after miles of trails and old roads up in the mountains. You can hike, bike, quad or horse ride. What ever way you want.
