The kitchen, dinning room, pantry, battery / storage room, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom are downstairs. The dinning room is next to a big sliding glass door that leads to the deck with the most amazing ocean view. As you go up a few steps you get to a huge studio /living /family room with very high celling and great views of both the ocean and the mountain. The studio has a second entrance to the house. The second floor has a large master bedroom with a big closet, 2 bedrooms (one of them with a skylight), a full bathroom with a jacuzzi and open space that can be used as a TV/ family room.
On the mountain side there is a fenced yard and a garage /workshop. Outside the fence and by the cactus garden, there is a beautiful adobe guest house with its own bathroom and kitchenette. It is a unique dome, where everything inside is costume made.
The lot is 650 m2 and the land it is NOT included in the sale of the house. The land is communal and there are plenty of options to proceed about it. Mexican people can buy the land from it's Ejido owners and get possession rights to it. Foreigners can get those rights if they buy through a Mexican corporation or a trust fund. You can also get a "promise to purchase" type of contract (meaning you buy and whenever the land becomes private you get the tittles), or do as most of us do around here and get a lease agreement for 30 years. I will happily walk you through any of those paths and answer your questions.
We are also open to a long term lease of the house for $850 a month.
The house is located within a small and friendly artist community of mainly Americans. It is a secluded place, perfect for nature lovers. We have services like cable TV and internet. The water is delivered by a truck to a big pila and there is an eco-friendly septic system. The access road is a 10 minutes dirt road that connects to the Maneadero-La Bufadora highway. It is a 15 minute walk away from La Bufadora, where there are restaurants and stores. Around the house there are several tidal pools, some with very comfortable access. There is also a smal private secluded sand beach inside the community and a 7 km beach within a 10 minutes drive from here. We are 45 minutes away from the city of Ensenada and 2 hours away from the San Ysidro border crossing.
There is a larger American community in the area and plenty of activities such as kayak, scuba diving, horseback riding and hiking.
We love this place and we love the house, but we are a young family and we need to be closer to the city.
