The main house is on a corner lot and is a stately white 1928 Colonial style home built by a local doctor in 1928. The exterior is landscaped to enhance the architectural beauty of the home, and features a long covered porch, mature trees and abundant flower gardens. The north lawn extends along the rear of the house and leads to the Carriage House and patio. The Carriage House is air conditioned and has a sleeping loft, a half bath and a roomy open area furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables. It is presently used for small events and for the innkeepers’ personal visitors and could easily be converted to a handicap access guest accommodation or additional innkeeper quarters.

The interior of the main house consists of three stories plus a finished basement with laundry facilities, full bath and storage areas. The first floor has a large living room with fireplace and dining room for guests. There is also a half bath, office and full professional kitchen. The guest quarters are on the second floor and consist of three rooms and a suite, all of which have private baths. The third floor is the innkeepers’ quarters with a finished attic bedroom and office plus additional storage areas.

The second house is a 1913 Craftsman Style home called the Craftsman Annex. The Craftsman Annex has a covered porch at the front entrance and a garden patio behind the home. A professionally built and maintained Petanque Court is located between the two homes and is surrounded by roses and lavender. The interior has two stories and has additional guest quarters: a suite with full kitchen and full bath on the second floor and a five room apartment with full kitchen, full bath and laundry room on the first floor. There is a partial attic. Both homes are air conditioned and fully furnished.


Additional revenue flow is attained with private dining. The professional kitchen features restaurant quality appliances and the dining room is suitable for private dinners as well for the daily breakfast service. Outside patio and porch seating provide additional seating for guests and for other diners as a possible additional restaurant income flow. Current owners maintain a restaurant license and offer private dining to non-B&B guests as well as in house guests. Completely furnished and tastefully decorated, the property includes all accouterments necessary to continue this thriving business.
