This beachfront resort property is located on Gau Island in the Eastern Lomaiviti group about 50 miles east of Fiji's main island. This area of Fiji is largely untouched with pristine coral reefs, world class fishing and diving, and traditional village life.

The property is roughly 25 acres consisting of a half-moon shaped white sand beach ascending into forest. Dotted along the beach are 4 luxury guest villas (bures), a large dining/recreation pavilion with attached kitchen, pool, and stone beach bar. The north point of the property is elevated with 180 degree views of the ocean and hosts 2 more guest villas. All of these buildings boast mahogany, marble, tile, and traditional woven finishes. Each bure has a vaulted ceiling bedroom, attached sitting room facing the ocean, and seperate bath with walk-in shower. Intricate stone lined paths weave through property to connect the buildings.

Powering the resort is a large array of solar panels and battery station located up the hill near the rear of property. This system is backed up by diesel generator if needed. Water is gathered in a series of holding tanks, and fed throughout the property by gravity, pumps, and filters as needed. Next to the solar station is a large manager's villa with cable tv, phone, internet, ocean view, and a centralized location to oversee operations.

Other structures on the property consist of a two story concrete storage shed now holding fishing and diving equipment, a laundry building with 2 sets of machines and linen storage, a staff quarters with attached equipment storage, and a satellite phone hut.

The entire development is built on the north half of the property, allowing for further development if desired. In fact, the south end of beach has flatter terrain and more area with room for at least another 4 bures, and a similar elevated point with amazing potential.

The property faces west allowing fantastic sunsets and views of the main island on clear days. The bay in front of the property has an extensive reef with every color of fish and coral. Manta rays and turtles swim outside the drop off. A barrier reef surrounds the island and is home to all kinds of large sport fish with some world class dive sites.
