We realize that when you get away you want to leave all of the troubles from home and work stay there. But, for those of you that need or want to be able to check in with the real world from time to time, Villa Leone is really connected! We furnish complimentary Verizon DSL internet and WIFI. Also included is a cell phone to use during your entire stay with us to allow you to stay in touch with your family or friends while on the beach, horseback, on a party catamaran, or snoozing in our rooftop treehouse. Villa Leone is also equipped with a land line and answering machine to make sure you never miss an important call.

ROOFTOP TREEHOUSE.......

A new addition to Villa Leone; our treehouse is a beautiful open air thatched roof hut perched high atop Villa Leone on the roof facing the beach. A bed is provided for those wishing to pursue the Robinson Crusoe experience of sleeping outside in the fresh ocean air in complete privacy.

Villa Leone is managed directly by the owner, with help from two local managers, a full time maid, 2 security guards and a full time grounds and beach maintenance staff.

BEACHFRONT BOHIO........

Our beautiful brand new beachfront thatched roof bohio covers the newly paved brick patio. The bohio serves as the center of your beachfront outdoor living space that makes Villa Leone one of the nicest beachfront villas on the best beach in Cabarete. The bohio is furnished with an outdoor wicker seating arrangement and a swim up pool bar. One very large and one medium size colorful wood parrot accompanies you at meal or cocktail times as they swing in the often strong ocean breezes.

BEACHFRONT GAZEBO........

A few steps up from the bohio brings you into a charming hexagonal concrete gazebo with brick pavers. The gazebo serves as a perfect place for morning coffee or cocktail hour. The view of the beach and mountains from the gazebo is intoxicating. A colorful wood parrot keeps you company as he swings from the ceiling.

OCEANFRONT INFINITY POOL.......

If you need to cool off from the beautiful sunny, warm weather, our brand new 5' deep infinity pool is the perfect solution. The pool adjoins the bohio and has 4 concrete bar stools in the water along the adjoining bohio bar, allowing your friends in the pool to join you for a drink as you sit on a dry stool under the bohio, in the shade.

OCEANFRONT HOT TUB AND PATIO

Our hot tub is maintained at 104 degrees farenheit and is set directly on the beach for your round the clock enjoyment. Adjacent to the hot tub is a beautiful brick paved patio with a wicker seating group set under swaying palms.

AIR CONDITIONING.........

A brand new airconditioning system was recently installed allowing independent temperature control in each bedroom and downstairs. This is not usually needed in the winter months, but is a welcome retreat from the heat in the summer months.

ENTERTAINMENT AT HOME........

If all of the above options leave you still looking for more ways to pass your time reaxing at the beach, there is an entertainment center in the livingroom offering cable TV, 50" hi def flat screen, dvd player, cd player and computer access with dsl internet. A few dvds and a small library of cd music is provided for your watching and listening pleasure. We now have an Apple Ipod player which allows you to bring your Ipod and plug it directly into our Apple player.

SLEEPING.........

Villa Leone has 5 bedrooms; 4 with ensuite bathrooms. All 5 bedrooms are independently controlled air conditioned and have ceiling fans. Three of the rooms have cathedral ceilings and small balconies with beautiful ocean views. These three bedrooms have king size beds. The 4th bedroom has two full size beds. The 5th has two twin beds that can be arranged as a king bed.


We have two inflatable twin air mattresses to allow more flexible sleeping arrangements as well as a large sectional sofa in the living room that can sleep two, if necessary.

A comfortable adult occupancy is 10; sleeping 2 adults in each king bed and one each in each full and twin bed. For expanded sleeping, each full size bed can sleep two, for a total of 4 in the one bedroom. The sofa can sleep 2 (large sectional.t a sofa bed) and we have two air matreses.

SECURITY.......

Villa Leone is protected day and night by full time security guards.


TRANSPORTATION...........

The decision to rent a car is, of course, yours. It is recommended but not absolutely necessary. If you are comfortable walking for 40 minutes down the beach, you will be in the middle of the town of Cabarete. Rides to or from the villa can be obtained by walking out to the road, raising your hand, and catching a ride on a local motoconcho, or motorcycle. They will quickly transport you from town to the villa for 20-30 pesos (less than $1). Of couse, taxis are always available if you do not like the idea of riding second seat on a motorbike (I do all the time). Mike, one of my managers, is also available for $50/day plus gas to drive you and translate for shopping or looking into a possible real estate acquisition. The rental fee includes airport pick-up by Mike for up to 4 people. Airport return is not included.
