This farm is in Sierpe which is a safe and peaceful little town on a dead end road in the SW of Costa Rica on the Osa Peninsula. The town is on the Sierpe River which is a deep water river that flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is about a 35 minute boat trip to the ocean from Sierpe through one of the most spectacular mangrove reserves in the world. The ocean has one of the best fisheries in the world and is easily accessible. Sierpe has several small very nice riverfront cafes and most of what ever you might need in groceries, hardware etc. Sierpe is just 15 minutes from an airport in Palmar with daily scheduled flights to the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose. Palmar is a larger town with ALL of the amenities you may need. It also has a newly remodeled clinic which is a mini hospital. Just 15 minutes from Palmar is a newly constructed very nice hospital in the city of Cortez. Sierpe also has a small clinic.

Corcovado National Park is just a short boat ride away with tours into this pristine and well protected park daily from Sierpe.
