LOCATION:

Villa Miradouro is located in Faja da Ovelha on the west coast of Madeira, an area blessed with stunning unspoilt countryside, bird wildlife, sea views and quaint seaside villages "Paul and Jardim do Mar". The villa is a mere 15 minutes drive from the seaside resort of Calheta and 30 minutes from the city of Funchal driving through villages with sea view and finally using express roads with tunnels through mountains and bridges, these altogether with the recent construction of several new marinas along the coast has increased the popularity of the west side of the island. A new express road is being built, when completed will cut the above journey by a further 10 minutes.
There are some popular restaurants / bars, mini market and a Bank with ATM nearby with a wider choice in Calheta. The city of Funchal (capital) offers entertaining nightlife, traditional / modern dining and shopping experience in newly built Malls.

Madeira described with expressive attributes such as “flower island” and “island of eternal spring” two thirds consists of protected areas with unique and versatile landscapes and nature, abundant with exotic and tropical flowers / fruits due to a mild climate even in midwinter.

VILLA:

It is south facing with excellent exposure to the sunshine offering total seclusion, tranquility and relaxation, it also enjoys spectacular panoramic views of a lighthouse, countryside, coastline, sea and incredible sunset views. To the North of the villa one can see the local church, the road leading to the property is a secondary road and cames to a dead end (viewing point) 200 metres past the entrance.

The Villa and gardens are set in a total area of 1933sqm. It was built in 1996 and is split in two levels, the upper floor was fully renovated in 2004 in a modern style with rustic features tastefully furnished to a high standard, attention to detail is evident throughout. With an open-plan layout, the villa is spacious and offers maximum natural light, it also offers a furnished veranda and breakfast room both overlooking the sea.

The Villa benefits from a swimming pool 10 X 5 metres with heated shower, built-in BBQ with large patio lit up for open-air dining. The pool areas and barbecue were built in 2004.


RENTAL SECTION:

Rental prices include maid service three times per week:

- Summer season (June, July, August, September) = 985.00€ weekly

- All other seasons = 795.00€ weekly

PLEASE NOTE THAT STERLING PAYMENTS ARE ALSO ACCEPTED.

The above rental is solely for the first floor and is based on 2 guests sharing.
The Villa is limited to a maximum of 4 sleeping guests as the ground floor is being used for private storage, the added cost for the 3rd / 4th person is 105.00€ each per week.
