Welcome to Chateau de Challain, the “Petit Chambord”. Completed as a private residence 1854, this magnificent chateau is the jewel of the region, now hosting gala events and providing guests with luxurious suites for their holidays in France. Designed for superior comfort, each room is brightened by the charm and elegance of a glamorous era. Come visit, and step inside a fairytale.

Each suite includes robes, slippers,a hairdryer, private w/c, bath and tea & coffee making facilities. We aim to make your holidays in France truly memorable.

A wedding at the Chateau is customized for every couple this is what we include, a 4 course Gastronomic Meal with wine paired to accompany each dish and the wedding cake starts at 160E pp. up to 100 persons

This also includes, a Bouquet for the bride, decor, candle, accent flowers from my garden, tables and chairs. This is also for the location as well.
The ceremony can take place in the small chapel in the chateau for groups of 20 or the church across the street.

We also offer Garden weddings for a small charge.

The Chateau will provide our guests with a luxurious suite and tranquil surrounding. To stimulate your taste buds you will work along side of the award winning Chef Simon Davey of the 13th Century renowned restaurant le petit Manoir . He will instruct your path into exquisite culinary skills. Linked to wines to tantalize your palette He will demonstrate and pass on his passion (savior-faire) to you by composing creative menus.
