Campeche Playa Golf, Marina and Spa Resort, a five-star complex being developed on Mexico’s

BEACHES:
There are 525 kilometres of coast in the state of Campeche on the Gulf of Mexico. The City of Campeche is right on the coast in the northern part of the state and the City of Carmen is on an island in the southern part of the state.
There are beautiful beaches in Campeche and most of them have little or no development on them. Many beach areas are protected for the preservation of carey turtles.
Near the City of Campeche you will find Playa Bonita public beach. Located only 8 kilometres from downtown Campeche, the beach is easily reachable by taxi or local bus. There are palapas where you can hang the hammock that you previously bought in town as well as concession stands where you can buy beverages. This is the beach where many of the locals swim on weekends in the spring and summer. During the winter, believe it or not, many Campechans find the weather a bit chilly, even when the temperature can reach 30 degrees some days. Early morning in December, January or February, the temperature in Campeche may be around 20 to 23 degrees centigrade.
Other beaches that you can visit are Seybaplaya, 29 kilometres southeast of Campeche, Sihoplaya, 39 kilometres from Campeche and ten from Seybaplaya. There is a beautiful hotel in Sihoplaya for those looking for a longer stay there.
