Here are some specific details The Van Nelle is a 27 meter barge house boat currently moored near Dijon, France. She comes completely ready to sail away having had in April 2005, a survey and all work and maintenance completed . Included iare a scooter (Peugeot Vivacity 4,000km), 4 bicycles and all necessary furniture and fittings. These include 3 built in double beds with deluxe mattresses (hardly used), sofa and lounge chairs, stereo and video equipment with VHS tape, CD and DVD, dining suite for 8, washing machine and dryer, gas barbecue, full central heating, computer and various phones for internet connection. We have an extensive list of tools and spare parts for the boat and its equipment. Van Nelle is an historic boat which was builit in 1915 for the Van Nelle coffee, tea and tobacco company. She plied their trade until WWII when she was used to ship water. Since 2001 she has travelled over 15,000 km throughout France including the Midi, Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Paris, WWI battlefields, Dunkirk and more.


So, what's next? In my business, French Property Shares, I research and buy wonderful, unique properties in France and do the legwork to create an LLC (a US limited liability company) which owns and operates the property. Van Nelle LLC will be my 9th project. By buying one of six shares, you can then use two month of time annually and yet split the ongoing running costs and expenses.
