There is public transportation every 20 minutes to and from Chicxulub, Progreso, Merida and Telchac. Chicxulub and Progreso offer access to post office, banks, ATM's, hospitals, drugstore, parks, a market, clothing stores, laundromat, Internet cafes, handcraft stores as well as excellent seafood restaurants along the ocean front boardwalk.
