The Castle of Araras

Araras is a romantic countryside city of São Paulo State (that is the richest and most important State of Brazil). Araras is far from São Paulo city (the Capital of the State) 170 kilometers, and is cuted for the Via Anhanguera that is one of the best paved roads in my country. It has almost 120.000 inhabitants with the tranquility and safety that is not found in the great cities. With a big development based in the production of sugar cane, oranges and other agricultures it has several industries, high level schools and two Universities.

The construction of the Castle of Araras, was started in 1992. With more than 1.000 squared meters of building area and super dimensioned structure, it was erected in 10 years, in a small farm of 5.000 squared meters (50 x 100) with so much green, on the Alto das Araras district, the most noble area in town. Built over a hill named Morro do Ronque, it gives a privileged view of all around the city (360 degrees). Not far from the castle is the Hipermercado Tiradentes, the biggest and most modern Hypermarket in town, offering total comfort, privacy and safe.
The access to the Castle of Araras is full paved of asphalt and it has a walkway of Portuguese stones in his 50 meters front face. It is located only 1 kilometer far from the main church that is the geographical centre of the city. Apart of it, because of the enormous wooding area that surrounds the Castle it is common to hear the singing of the birds and contemplating the commotion of a flock of maritacas (small parrots) that always passes for there in the sunset. A stubborn bird (bem-te-vi) usually pecks the window of closet all the mornings as calling for a new day of clean and completely pure air. Zero stress!
Following this, there are some characteristics of the estate, to give you an approach idea of its qualities; however a personal visit is indispensable to know and be sure of the complete meaning of the adjective: "cinematographic".

All the construction was made with massive clay bricks (evidential photos) and the external walls of the Castle has the thickness of the length of a standard brick, with finishing imitating stone.
