The nearby city of Kyparissia (6.5 km away) has every facility and a hospital.
The sea is 4 km away and is a very long sandy sea with occasional small gulfs.
Numerous archeological places are in reach within an hour drive : Ancient Olympia,where the Olympic games started, Chora with the ruins of the palace of Nestor one of the leaders of the Trojan war, Pylos with its beautifull medieval castle, Methoni with a famous castle too, and many others. the nearest archeological site lies in a walking distance, 2 km away, on the same mountain ridge as the house and is a 3500 years old with 2 big thombs.
Within 1,1/2 hour drive,one can visit the important region of Mani with Its castle like villages and its beautifull and interesting landscape.
THE HOUSE ITSELF
The house is actually consisted of two seperate houses with the same yard.
The main house is 120 m2, has 2 bedrooms (each one with a double bed), a big dinning room, a living room with a sofa that can be converted into a double bed and a mezzanine with another double bed.
The little house next to the main one (annex) is 30m2, has its own private entrance, a double bed, a small living room with a small kitchen, its own refrigerator and bathroom and is simple but cozy.
So the total is 150m2, 5 double beds and 2 bathrooms.
In the living room there is a Yamaha Pf 80 Electronic piano and a Yamaha steel guitar.
There are 2 terraces looking to the nearby hills and the sea.
There is an overground circular pool, 5m in diameter and 90cm in depth.
It is a very simple pool but quite effective to refresh you in a hot day and very safe for small kids.
