I also have a designated taxi driver, (other drivers can take you for a ride you don't even know where) who can wait patiently at the airport to take you to the apartment to make the check-in smooth and safe. (the ride is 35 minutes cost you 70 Reais about $35 USD)
For cleaning the apartment you can make arrangement with Mrs. Rose (the caretaker, a respectable lady speaks English and can be very helpful in any situation) to send you a cleaning lady as you wish at your expense.
