Temperatures vary with wonderful warm days and cool enjoyable nights underneath the stars. Shopping, beaches, restaurants and supermarkets are available 35 minutes away. Mary’s restaurant in Altos is a delightful place to eat and provides a haven for talking with people who have decided to make Panama their home. A small superette in Sora also provides necessary staples. Everything is in place to make sure that your visit pleasurable and memorable.

Altos del Maria is located approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Panama City. Take the new Centenary Bridge over the Canal. Keep going straight all the way to Bejucco (about 1 hour). You will see a PIO PIO Restaurant on your right and an archway announcing ALTOS DEL MARIA. At that point, turn right and follow the Altos signs up the mountain approximately 15 or 20 minutes to the small town of Sora. Pass the large yellow Chinese facility on the left, then turn right at the Police Station and continue for another 5 minutes or 2 km. Pass the sales center on the left, then down a hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the first left leading to the Altos MAIN GATE. Give the guard your name and the lot number of where you will be staying and you will be permitted entrance.
