Since February of 1993 Hotel Pasatiempo has been a Tamarindo landmark..
There are seventeen rooms, two of them one bedroom suites. All of the rooms have A/C, ceiling fan, private bath with hot water, radios with CD players, security safes and a patio with a hammock. There is a computer in the reception area for our guests and wireless is available as well. The swimming pool is situated within the lushly landscaped property which has plenty of colorful flowers and trees. There is also an owner's/manager's house on site.
Our Tuesday "Open Mic" nights are almost legendary and we're widely known as the place for sports and where something is always happening. We have a very good restaurant which is called "The Oasis" with a small waterfall at the entrance.

We also have another business “PizzaTiempo” which delivers pizza, rotisserie chicken and our entire menu as well as beverages with or without alcohol.

The lot has 3467.71 square meters or 37312.56 sq ft of land, all usable. There is a 30 meter, 97.5 ft wide street in front of our property and to the side a 14 meter, 45.5 ft street and behind us a 14 meter alameda or green zone.
Zoning is in planning stages but it is based on width of road frontage and I've been assured our zoning would be the highest density and/or commercial as will be allowed in Tamarindo because of our location.
We also have a building permit for four more units. There is also additional land for more units.
We have 1380 sq meters, 14849 sq ft, of buildings, not including covered patios. We recently installed a new roof on the rancho and last year rewired the main portions of the hotel including adding a second meter to separate the hotel from the bar/rest.
