Blue Wave Hotel is a three star hotel in Mamaia Nord, on the Black Sea shore, on D.C. 86 (Mamaia –Navodari Route), and 2.7 km North of Mamaia, Romania’s topmost seaside resort. Mamaia Nord is a new resort that has quickly become a very desirable vacation destination thanks to its relaxing natural beaches, quiet surroundings, private vacation villas and family owned small hotels, restaurants and shops, no more than minutes away from many points of interest in Mamaia and Constanta. The weather is wonderful in the summer: lots of sun, nice breezes, cooler nights!
Only 300 meters directly in front of the hotel, native vegetation is bordering wide secluded beaches lined with fine sand, the perfect place for relaxing enveloped by the warm sunlight, listening to the waves and the seagulls, breathing in the salty and invigorating marine air; a small paradise for any sea lover looking to spend some time away from the busy everyday life. Walk down the beach to a quiet open air beach bar for refreshments and snacks. About 100 meters down the road in the back of the hotel there is to be found the Poarta Alba- Midia Navodari Canal with a very nice road alongside it, a great place for fishing and exercising!
Blue Wave has an established bussines, it was built in 2006, four stories tall with room to expand: its foundation was designed and built to support two more levels if an addition is desired. The hotel is heading towards becoming a boutique, intimate hotel. Our motto is: “At Blue Wave you are not just a guest, you are our personal guest!” we take pride in accommodating our guests, in making sure we do our best to meet their needs and expectations! Many of our guests return vacation after vacation, a good indicator that we are indeed meeting and even exceeding their expectations!
The hotel has 23 rooms and a one bedroom apartment, currently occupied by the owners (sleeps 50+), an underground garage, parking, bar, terrace and garden. All rooms are spacious, bright and have high ceilings. Blue Wave is built on a 652 square meters lot and has direct access to D.C. 86, the main street that connects Mamaia to Mamaia Nord. The building’s area is approximately 1225 square meters.
Entering the main level the reception and semicircular stairway are to the right, the bar and sitting area to the left and front; there is also a hallway to access rooms nr. 1 and 2, the one bedroom apartment and two restrooms. The underground garage has access from inside the hotel as well as outside and together with the parking in front and back of the hotel accommodates 26+ cars.
Each level has a spacious hallway and sitting area, an apartment, three double rooms, two de luxe rooms and a maid’s room.
There are beige ceramic tiled floors on the main level, hallway, stairways, terraces and balconies, wall to wall carpeting in all rooms and upstairs hallways and blue Saltillo tiles in all bathrooms.
The two standard rooms on the main floor feature a double bed with two nightstands, TV stand, TV, chairs, hallway, bathroom with shower, cable TV, AC.
The double rooms, three on each floor, six with king size bed and three with two single beds also feature two nightstands, TV stand, chairs and a small table, hallway, bathroom with shower, cable TV, air conditioning, balcony with sea view.
The six de luxe rooms, two on each floor feature king size bed, two nightstands, coffee table with two chairs, spacious hallway, large bathroom with shower, cable TV, TV stand, terrace with sea view, AC, refrigerator.
The three apartments, one on each floor feature a bedroom with king size bed, two nightstands, coffee table with two ottomans and mirror, double wardrobe and balcony with sea view, spacious hallway with coat rack and shoe storage, spacious bathroom with shower, living room with pull out sofa bed, TV stand, coffee table, table with chairs, refrigerator, cable TV, air conditioning, and terrace with sea view.
All rooms also have wardrobes and coat racks with mirrors and shoe storage.
The one bedroom apartment is located on the main floor, with an entrance from inside the hotel and another from the exterior, and access to a back garden and terrace. This apartment features a large living room, two hallways, master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, complete with wall and base cabinets, refrigerator, oven, full bathroom with bathtub and shower, laundry room, terrace and private garden. There are ceramic tiled floors on the hallways, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom, hardwood floors in the bedroom and living room.
The bar is fully equipped and it offers besides drinks: various snacks, ice cream, coffee, etc. The bar stays open all day into the night. There is a sitting area set up with coffee tables, ottomans and sofas as well as outdoor sitting on the wraparound terrace. The property is enclosed by cement walls with landscaping on the sides and a garden in the back.
Other details include stucco exterior, cinder blocks, cement, steel, solid construction, radiators in all rooms on the main floor and some first floor. Water heater/ gas/electric room in the basement. Exterior lights, spot lights, flag pole and landscaping established.
The hotel is well maintained and in running order, the bussiness is established and operating at full capacity, with all paperwork and state requirments up to date.
Room rates vary with time in the season, which peaks from June 15th to August 31st. The summer season lasts from May 1st to September 30th, but the hotel stays open all year. The vicinity of Rompetrol Petro Midia Navodari and other construction projects in the area offers great business opportunity offseason for Blue Wave: we have many guests who work in the area for a couple of months at the time or come on business trips all year round. That, together with lengthy various holidays keep the rooms occupied year round.
