The plot is just under 2 acres with 80m of beachfront with island views. There is large bar area with in built lounge area and pool table, with equipped kitchen, numerous eating areas, a swimming pool area paved with natural sandstone, 13 double bungalows, hot showers, toilets and plenty of shaded camping spots.

The clientele vary but are predominantly overland companies, followed by backpackers and independent vehicle travellers. It also attracts local residents and members of the expat community.
The campsite is situated just under 4 km from the Dar es Salaam CBD area on a peninsula, which can be accessed by a scenic 15 minute ferry ride, or accessed by 45min drive by tarmac road.

The business includes all accessories and equipment. We have just recently purchased new ice machine and slushy machine for bar area. The kitchen has just had new corian work bench tops installed. The pool has just had a complete overhaul - new pool liner, pump, filter and pool equipment accessories. Water is available onsite from freshwater bore hole complete with submersibal pump just over a year old. Power to site is 3 phase from local power authorities with a stand by generator onsite. Bar area is made of natural local materials - Coral rock, maniga hardword and, locally quarried sand stone.
