Located in the Wairarapa, an hour from Wellington, we are a boutique hair and makeup salon, offering one-on-one service to clients.

After investigating several sites, including three existing salons, we decided to establish the business in a new venue. Our location is
conveniently located in the heart of Greytown and gives clients privacy since the location is off the Main Street. The salon was completely outfitted with modern equipment, including a computerised booking/stock/invoicing system and a website. Additionally, the salon stocks hair, makeup, skincare products and accessories which are exclusive to the business.

Bookings have been steady and increasing since opening; bookings are engaged as much as three months in advance. The salon continues to be marketed as a high-end boutique, drawing clients from not only the Wairarapa, but Wellington, the Hutt Valley, Kapiti Coast, Manawatu, Hawkes Bay and even further north and from the South Island.

Gross receipts from operations far exceeded expectations in the first year and into the second year, receipts have already surpassed those of the entire prior year. (In 2006, the salon was closed for a total of ten weeks for further education and study by the senior stylist and closed again for a total of six weeks this year, 2007, for the same reason.)
