When we planed the architecture of the house our most important and first consideration was light! It was very important to us that the house had an open and airy tropical feel to it. The kitchen/breakfast room has a 55m² area, with rustic roof kept in a European style. It is totally equipped with imported hardware, amongst other a Whirlpool double door stainless steel refrigerator and a twenty bottle wine cooler. The house can easily accommodate15 people in comfort and privacy. There are 5 bedrooms: 3 ensuites and 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom upstairs. The Master Suite has it’s own jacuzzi and private terrace with view to the ocean. Four of the bedrooms have view to the ocean and one of them to the internal garden. All bathrooms are spacious and decorated with imported lamps and bathroom fixtures. The outdoor area includes a large terrace with a barbecue pit and a large second fireplace. From the 70m2 covered veranda there is direct access to the kitchen, swimming pool and a 100m2 wooden sun deck. The deck around the swimming pool is decorated with bromeliad gardens, buganvilleas and large planters. The “Enseada do Albatroz” is a beautiful preservation area of Buzios, with easy acess to the best beaches of Buzios. We are, at the same time, just a few minutes to the center of the village – where you can find all the stores and good restaurants. You may spend the day at one of the two beaches located just a 100 meters from the house, or visit one of the other twenty two exquisite beaches here in you enjoy walking there are trails connecting our house to Ferradura, Ferradurinha and Geriba beaches. There are plenty of beautiful places to hike around our photos show some of the trails around the house. We are located approx. 30min by foot to Ferradura Beach and around 15 min to Geriba Beach. To the small secluded “Praia dos Amores” there’s a stone staircase right at the end of the property. The garden is mature, well kept and planted with native species. Using native plants and palms ensures that we have flowers all year round and low water usage and maintenance- but... there is still a lot of room for you to bring in your personal touch!
