The Owners:
- We, Kari Huvestad and Mike Fuller-Gee are landscape architects and urban designers and have been working in Norway for the last 26 years. We bought the old building complex of Vlakfontein Wine Farm in 2005. We have been visiting and working in planning in South Africa since the mid-70s and have always wanted to realise our dream of creating a "Perfect Getaway" surrounded by vineyards and spectacular mountains, far from the stresses of city living.
- We wish to share our dream with other like-minded creative people and are therefore offering a unique opportunity to join us in this investment in Nelson Mandela's Rainbow Nation. With the Soccer World Cup in 2010, property, especially hotel standard accomodation in South Africa will be a good investment. Not only for your future - but also for the local community in the beautiful village of Riebeek Kasteel.

We have carefully designed the renovations of the existing buildings and the new appartments and homes in close collaboration with local architects and planners. Our goal is to achieve a "cross-over" design style that combines the best of Scandinavia and Africa.
