Beach Front for Sale in Petit Byahaut, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Secluded 50 Acre Valley on a Jewel of a Bay

Petit Byahaut is located on the leeward coast of St Vincent 4 miles north of the capital and a few hundred feet south of the under construction Buccament Bay Resort, to be completed this year, and highrise apartments, to be completed 2010.

The property is 52+ acres in the valley including the headland that juts into the ocean. This headland is the most westerly point on St Vincent and filmed in the cave sceane of Pirates of the Caribbean. There is a small beach, not pictured, on the other side of the headland at the base, which is shared with the property to the north. An additional 4 acres connects to the village to the south near the rear of the property.

Petit Byahaut has 2,500 feet of water frontage plus 500 feet of beach. Petit Byahaut Bay is protected, clear and alive. There are hundreds of fish in just 3 feet of water and the bay has had up to 19 yachts moored and anchored at one time. The sea's reef and walls offer the best snorkeling and scuba on the island and some have rated it, as one of the best in the world.

The access is by sea a short distance from villages to the north or south. In the event a road access is desired, it could be provided via the 4 acre parcel at the rear of the property.

Petit Byahaut has been a desired location for centuries, as evidenced by a Carib oven carved in a stone from the 1600's and a ruin at the north of the beach from the 19th century. There are 2 large caves, one of which has a fresh water artesian well used over the ages and still in use today.

Care has been taken to promote a healthy sea and the landscaping has been nurtured for decades.

Improvements on the property are not being considered in the value, however, will serve for staff, management and storage during any construction. They consist of a manager's home, restaurant, several dwellings (all fully supplied). Electrictiy is provided by photovoltaics and water via the artesian well and 15,000 gallons of storage. The resort is self contained. Water and electicy is available from Vinlec and Central Water.

Petit Byahaut is currently being operated as an Eco Resort and has been featured in the New York Times, the London times and many travel and sports publications.

The new international airport is planned to be completed 2012.

Photos below are all of the property except the last one which is Trinity Falls. There are many other spectacular places on St Vincent. The volcano, the rain forest, Baline, Salt Pond, many other water falls, rivers and special places. You may see more on the Petit Byahaut web site.
