GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Podere ‘BOSCO’ is a Tuscan farm house built over 100 years ago by the noble family ‘Pesciolini’ of Ghizzano di Peccioli and about 60 years ago the farmhouse was substantially enlarged.

The house is situated in a rural area with an interesting blend of pastures and untouched woodland surrounding the property. It sits on a total of 3 hectares of land and is therefore very private. Access to the house is excellent thanks to a very quiet tarmac road running at about 100m distance past the house. The house is located in the center of the triangle Pisa-Florence-Volterra. Pisa airport with links to many major European destinations is a 35 minute car drive away. The house sits at the foot of a gentle slope in a small valley. The 1st floor windows offer stunning views of Volterra, at about 20km distance.

During the last five years the house has undergone major renovation and upgrading and is now in good structural condition. A central heating system has been installed with floor heating in the 1st floor kitchen. All copper roof gutters have been renewed as well as all rainwater discharge tubing. Just in 2007 a new sewage system with 2 septic tanks has been installed. There is also planning approval granted for roof reconstruction.
