The villas offer a peaceful location in this quiet suburb of Accra that is just 30 minutes from the city centre.
Our aim in creating these villas was to provide you with high quality accommodation comparable with self-catering apartments on the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, and it appears that our guests have fallen love with the villas. After one year in business, feedback from our guests is that the villas were extremely clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful & friendly and the whole package was very good value for the quality of property we provide. We can only hope to build on such a good start.
We offer a daily cleaning service and full time security to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. You will also find a welcome pack on arrival, which we hope will get your stay off to a great start.
Sam’s Villas consist of 2 semi-detached villas each with its own private garden:
Villa 1 sleeps 4 and offers:
- 2 air conditioned double bedrooms – The master bedroom has a large balcony for enjoying the sea breeze and a good view of the East of Accra
- 2 bathroom with showers
- Fully fitted kitchen with Microwave, grill and oven
- Dining table with 4 chairs
- Air-conditioned sitting room with cable TV, telephone, DVD with a selection of films and music system - leading out to a patio with garden furniture
- Private garden for relaxation under the palm tree
- Utility room shared with Villa 2 with a washing machine.
Villa 2 sleeps 6 and offers:
- 3 air conditioned double bedrooms – The master bedroom has a large balcony for enjoying the sea breeze and a good view of the East of Accra
- 2 bathrooms with showers, plus a 3rd toilet for convenience
- Fully fitted kitchen with Microwave and grill
- Dining table with 6 chairs
- Air-conditioned sitting room with cable TV, telephone, DVD and music system - leading out to a patio with garden furniture
- Private garden for relaxation
- Utility room shared with Villa 1 with a washing machine
Inter-connecting doors mean that the 2 villas can be combined and rented as a 5 bedroomed house offering accommodation for up to 10 guests.
The villas are just a mile away from the sea, with Coco Beach and Labadi Beach within easy reach. For entertainment, guests have a choice of the Coco Beach Resort, Dutch Hotel, Next Door Resort, Labadi Beach Hotel and LA Palm Hotel all within 15 minutes drive. Those wanting to travel further afield are less than 30 minutes from the top clubs, restaurants and hotels in Accra and Tema. Alternatively, (and we think this is the best option) you can just grab a beer or a bottle of wine and enjoy the sea breeze and lovely views of Accra from the balconies of the villas.
Food shopping is at A Life supermarket, less than 5 minutes away, which will meet most of your basic shopping needs and has a well stocked fruit and vegetable stall. Bigger and well stocked supermarkets can be found in central Accra. For a real African shopping experience, we would thoroughly recommend a saturday morning spent in the Boboshie market off Spintex Road – much smaller and cleaner than the sprawling alternatives in town, it offers delightfully fresh and varied meat, fruit and vegetables.
We can provide internet access although you will have to credit units in order to use it
Whilst we do not provide a catering service at the apartment as part of the rent, we can arrange for you to have a cook on the premises during your stay. Should you require this service, please let us know when making the booking, and we can provide you with details and cost.
We have also managed to secure very competitve rates with a car rental company in Accra. They offer a wide range of cars all driven by professional drivers with excellent knowledge of Accra and the whole of Ghana. Again, details and prices are available on request.
