Oceanview bungalows located in an eco-village. Our private beachfront bungalows are located on the Pacific coast directly on a pristine sand beach of Banderas Bay. We are just a one hour boat(water taxi) ride south from Boca de Tomatlan, which is a 30 minute taxi/bus ride south of Puerto Vallarta. Another option is to take a bus/taxi south to the town of ElTuito, 1.5 hours south of PV then hire a taxi to take you to Chimo. It is a very scenic adventure, passing through mountains, valleys and several villages where you can stop for a beverage or two, on your your way to Chimo, approx 2 hours from El Tuito.

Los Chonchos eco village is not for everyone, however, if you seek secluded, private sandy beaches, away from the busy tourist areas, you will find it here at Los Chonchos Beach. We are in a safe/secure location. We are just outside of the "tourist" area on a safe/secluded beach. If you seek adventure and being one with nature, you will find it all in Los Chonchos Beach.

Our closest neighbor is the charming seaside village of Chimo where you can purchase provisions and/or have a delicious relaxing meal at one of the intimate open air restuarants. Chimo is a short hike, 30-45 minutes south, via a rustic trail. You also have the option of hiring a boat/panga that will pick you up on the beach and take you to Chimo, a 15 minute ride.

This is truly a very special/magical paradise.

There are currently several houses available to buy. You can choose from one of the move in condition casas, or there is one casa that is in need of some minor repairs that our skilled craftsman can complete for you. There is one other option, visit and choose one of the remaining available sites, our contractor can build you the beach casa of your dreams. Short term financing is available with a 50% down payment.
