This is our villa in La Villajoyosa - a little home close to the sea that we have acquired to get away from the bustling of city life. This place carries a special place in our hearts: It is where Fran was born, it is where you happen on the soft smell of chocolate Valor being made from the factory nearby. It is where you can enjoy nature, both sea and mountains, and eat fantastic fresh food, both from a variety of quaint restaurants or from the market in the heart of the village.

The flat itself is partly refurbished, leaving the two toilets and the kitchen in the original tiled style of the ’70s. We have tried to keep the design just like la Villa, with earthly hues of terracotta in the different rooms. There are three rooms, one master bedroom with a sea view and two smaller guest rooms. They all have double beds, chests of drawers and hanging space for clothes.

The main bathroom has a bathtub, whereas the smaller one has a single shower. The kitchen functions on gas and has a toaster, a fridge/freezer and an Italian mocha for making coffee. It comes with all the amenities to cook and serve and there is a little adjacent ‘gallery’ or washroom with a washing machine.

The living room faces the sea and has big French patio doors that open up onto the terrace to leave the space full of light. The living room is fully furnished with a TV, a sofa corner and a dining table and chairs. The terrace or balcony runs along the length of the house, it has a dining table, a bench and two dining chairs for dining and a smaller set of café furniture for lounging.

The flat is located in the centre of the village, three minutes 'walk' from the beach and five minutes from a nearby supermarket. There are bars and restaurants all around the village and on the beach; we have created a list of recommendations that we hand out with the booking. There are several beaches nearby, the main beach of the village and surrounding neighbour beaches. Originally a fishing village, you’ll still see the fishing boats coming back from the sea in the evenings and you fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

This is not a flat we just rent out, it is our little home in the south so we hope you’ll take good care of it and enjoy it as much as we do.

Since we don't live in the flat all year round, for security reasons we have installed a camera facing the entrance of the apartment. We can only see the door from this camera, nothing else.

The water heating turns on automatically depending on the number of guests and consumption.

The flat is located 5-7 minutes from the train station, with a direct train to Alicante, and there is plenty of free parking space available in the village.
How to get to Vila from Alicante airport?
By 2 public transports. The journey costs around €7 per person and lasts around 90 minutes:

1.- Public bus Airport - Plaza de los Luceros (TRAM Alicante).
2.- TRAM Alicante Line (Last tram at 21:11): Alicante Luceros - Villajoyosa (Creueta).
How to get to Vila after 21:11:
1.- By taxi from Alicante Airport to Villajoyosa cost around €65.
2.- Bus from Alicante Airport - Benidorm (€9.80) and then taxi to Villajoyosa (€17).
