We decided to retire in Botswana and have changed our plans accordingly. Originally we wanted to retire in Jacobsbaai and manage this house as small guesthouse...but we are well established in Botswana and decided to stay.

The house is about 300 m away from the ocean in this very safe and idylic coastal village. Vredenburg and Saladanha only about 12 km away for shopping. The house was build farm style, cement floors tinted and varnished with rooms large and accommodating.

Jacobsbaai has about 400 houses to date, 10 km away from Saldanha. The village is extremely well regulated and managed, with no informal settlements nearby. It is safe for jogging and walking and the guesthouse is only 1 km from the beach. Saldanha and Langebaan lagoon (close by) are very popular destinations for windsurfing, fishing, sailing and of course... seafood. Your neighbours are the crayfish in the cold water of the atlantic ocean.
