The natural surroundings are truely spectacular and the 4-kilometer beach between both rivers will have you enchanted.

Palomino is right in the middle between the cities of Santa Marta (70km) and Riohacha (80km).
Both Santa Marta and Riohacha are tourist cities, and have an (inter)national airport.
Transport connections from and to Palomino are very frequent and easy.
Also Barranquilla and Cartagena, two of Colombia's biggest cities, are relatively closeby and have direct connections.

HOSTAL BUILDING:
The hostal is centrally located in town, on the main road that leads to the beach.
Both the beach and the river can be easily reached within walking distance (<10min to the beach, <10min to the river).
The hostal features 10 private rooms, five of which have an attached patio.
All rooms have a private bathroom; some are equipped with fan, some are equipped with aircon.
The first floor also has an indoor patio where breakfasts and lunches are served, and a reception and kitchen area.
The second floor houses owners' on-site private room with attached bathroom and patio.
Further on the second floor are a deposit room for all the hostal utilities, a deposit room for work and maintenance material and a social space of over 100 square meters.
The second floor could be organized as a restaurant, a cafe, or other business.
The building is low in maintenance.

TOURISM:
Palomino counts with tourists all year round.
Though many people define it as a backpacker town, you will encounter all kinds of different tourists:
Solo travelers, overlanders, local Colombian couples or families, foreign couples on a short or long trip through Colombia/Latin America, people of the third age, digital nomads, yoga lovers
Certain periods of the year are considered high season, mainly due to local holidays (December until March, June until September).
Foreign tourists tend to visit all year round, causing Palomino to always be on active-mode.
It thanks the big flow of tourists because of being a hub to the many tourist attractions in the region.

AMENITIES:

You can easily manage it yourself. This allows you to get in touch with all of your guests, providing great and personal service.
During high season periods, the hostal has full occupancy almost every day.
Throughout the whole year, we manage to have an average occupancy of around 70%.
This has been possible thanks to attracting digital nomads in low season and an increase after pandemic of the average number of nights spent per room.
